Design an immersive, interactive showcase for Watson Lab AI researchers in Austin, TX, to demonstrate cutting-edge research and teach how Watson’s AI works.
Concept for interacting with holograms
Goals
Blend a futuristic, cinematic, 3D aesthetic with cognitive depth and real “wow” factor.
Parameters
- Hardware: 80" touch screen
- Users: Lab AI researchers and IBM tour guides
- Audience: IBM personnel, prospective partners, school field trips
- Content: Current Watson Labs research
- Deliverable: Annotated single-screen UI visual treatment
Outcome
The concept was implemented and installed at IBM’s Astor Place location in Manhattan.
